Procedure for Changing Your Password
Follow these steps to change your password. Note that the form shown in Step 1 is
just a screen shot of the real form.
You should see the Metro Net password
change form. Enter your 8-character Metro Net user name. Be sure to use lower-case
letters. Press the Tab key.
Enter your current Metro Net password (with
appropriate upper and lower-case letters, numbers and symbols.) Note that you will only
see asterisks on the screen. Press the Tab key.
Type your new password following the guidelines for a
good password. Press the Tab key.
Type your new password again to confirm it. Click on
the Change My Password button.
If everything is okay, you will see a message
indicating your password has been changed. If you receive a message about mis-match or
password file busy, you will need to try again. If you still are unable to change your
password, please contact
you local library.
